Entrepreneurship and Business Transformation by Dr. Dominique Bourqui Discover the key tools utilized by successful entrepreneurs and corporates when driving innovation and business transformation. Dr. Dominique Bourqui, the Chief Academic Officer and Director of the Doctoral School at Business School Lausanne, will guide you through the essential aspects of entrepreneurship. About Dr. Dominique Bourqui:

Dr. Dominique Bourqui is the Chief Academic Officer and Director of the Doctoral School of Business School Lausanne. At BSL, there are more than 60 researchers working on their Doctorate in Business Administration. Dr. Dominique Bourqui is also an experienced entrepreneur business coach and consultant, who has been building sustainable businesses for herself and for her clients for the past 10 years. She works with her clients on a one-to-one basis, and acts like an accelerator, to help them build their own successful business or the life they want for themselves by developing their entrepreneurial mindset and/or skills on the way. Entrepreneurship can be learned, and Dr. Bourqui believes it takes an entrepreneur to coach entrepreneurs. Dr Dominique Bourqui is passionate about Entrepreneurial Mindset Development and is the co-author of "Edupreneurial Pivot, Transformation of school organizations through entrepreneurial mindset ", published by Editions Management et Société, EMS, France.

Marketing Yourself in Switzerland by Marketing Professor Dr. Marko Majer In this highly interactive workshop, Dr. Marko Majer, a seasoned marketing communications professional and business educator, will lead you through an engaging exploration of self-marketing strategies in Switzerland. The session will begin with an informative presentation on skills and employability, accompanied by valuable insights into the job landscape in Switzerland. Following this, participants will collaborate in discussion groups using the Worldcafé principle, sharing their perspectives and opinions on various topics. The workshop will conclude with a plenary session, encouraging further discussion and reflection on personal marketing and responsible behavior. Both sessions are designed to provide practical knowledge and empower attendees to navigate the dynamic business environment effectively. Whether you are a student, professional, or aspiring entrepreneur, this Learning Day is a unique opportunity to expand your skill set and network with like-minded individuals.

About Dr. Marko Majer:

Dr. Marko Majer is a seasoned marketing communications professional and business educator with over 30 years of international experience. He has been sitting proverbially on two chairs all his life: he has founded and then managed one of the leading marketing communications agencies in Slovenia, working for blue-chip clients, such as MasterCard, Coca-Cola, Ford, Nestlé. The agency team under his leadership and himself personally have received over 80 international awards for their work.  The challenges of leading a diverse and demanding creative team have encouraged him to research the young generation, Millennials, as talent in the European advertising industry for his doctorate, which was subsequently also published in a book.

Dr. Marko Majer currently acts as a mentor to young leaders and startups and teaches his favourite topics of marketing and leadership with special attention to digital trends and responsible behaviour at three high-profile Swiss business schools.

Marko is an avid traveller, fluent in 6 languages. He is a sports pilot and enjoys flying small aircrafts around Europe, skiing and spending time outdoors.
