How not to get stuck in a new multicultural environment where you didn't feel at home before?

Despite the promising beginnings of a new life in new countries, we often find it very difficult to feel accepted, to feel at home among many people driven by their own cultural prejudices, trying to satisfy their unspoken needs that are part of their cultural heritage and the history of their country of origin.

On June 8th, we invite you to a Bevel networking event where we will have a cultural debate about the similarities and differences between Swiss and Ukrainian cultures. This event is part of the Bevel integration programme for Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their country in a very short period of time.

Since March 2022, almost 40,000 Ukrainians have found their new temporary home in Switzerland due to the conditions of war. Belonging to the same European land, two seemingly similar cultures turned out to be significantly different at some critical points, creating emotional disruption for many.

We invite the international community, expats in the French part of Switzerland, managers working with multicultural teams, to join us at this event and see how complex things can turn into something very simple, understandable, leading to a softening of human relations and a better mental and emotional adaptation to the new international environment.
